Mr. Yao Xin has more than 17 years of experience in MICE talent research, industry education and standardization. He serves as the convenor of the ISO Working Group on Exhibitions and Events (ISO/TC 228/WG20) and a member of the Expert Committee on Revision of the National Classification of Occupations. He has promoted the inclusion of four new occupations in the National Classification of Occupations, such as exhibition constructor, exhibition service professional, exhibition venue management professional, and conference hospitality service professional, and has taken the lead in the development of the international standard of ISO 25639-1, “Exhibitions and events Part 1: Vocabulary”.
