Introduction to CEFCO
China Expo Forum For International Cooperation (CEFCO) is jointly hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and four international non-governmental organizations, namely UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) and International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). It is the only state-level, international forum in the exhibition and conference sector, approved by the State Council of China. CEFCO is held annually in various cities across China. To date, it has successfully convened 19 sessions in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu, Nanjing, Xi'an, Hangzhou, Haikou, Chongqing, Wuxi, Kunming, Yinchuan, Macao, Qingdao, Qionghai, Nanning, Fuzhou, Shaoxing, and Nanchang.
CEFCO has served as an annual gathering since its initiation in 2005, facilitating exchanges and cooperation among representatives from renowned enterprises, industry organizations, government departments, professional media, and research institutions from around the world. The forum adheres to the principle of "Openness, Cooperation, and Win-Win" and plays an important role in promoting in-depth communication and pragmatic cooperation between Chinese and international enterprises, exploring pathways for high-quality development, enhancing the international influence of Chinese exhibition and conference industry, and further driving the development of local open economies.
